Novel Energy Solutions installs Community Solar Gardens for businesses ranging from family farms to entities with large rooftops or unused land. A CSG is a centralized solar project connected to the energy grid that provides energy to multiple subscribers. We lease the land for our CSGs from business owners around the state of MN. The Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue for all Novel Energy Solution’s offerings, including community solar land, distributed generation, energy efficiency, and subscription solar sales, to meet/exceed sales, revenue, and profit objectives. The director is responsible for overseeing, training, developing, and mentoring the sales team members, including sales managers, accountable for the team’s performance. Moreover, the director acts as a strategic partner with an eye towards long-term sales strategy. The responsibilities include overseeing the daily sales activities, meeting with major clients, writing sales reports, designing effective sales strategies, and marketing company products and services. To be successful, the right candidate has excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive company success in a rapidly growing company. Ultimately, a top-notch Sales Director should have an in-depth knowledge of the market and competitive products and have excellent customer service, interpersonal, teaching, and communication skills.
